python-jmespath software package provides JSON Matching Expressions (Python 2), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-jmespath
python-jmespath is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-jmespath package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-jmespath *
You will get with python-jmespath package name, version, architecture and description in a table
